Make Affiliate Money Online With No Website

There is an affiliate money making method that thousands of Internet Entrepreneurs use which requires no product, no stock, no Website and no huge investment of time or money. Advertising affiliate programs using Pay Per click (PPC) advertising such as Google Adwords is very easy and no strings. The key to success is finding Affiliate merchants that pay well and have products that are in demand. Here’s a list of some of the best paying affiliate programs:

888.om Amazon.com Buy.at Ladbrokes Bangbrosnetwork(18) Mansion

Adultfriendfinder(18) Click Bank Nasty dollars(18) Revshare Rewards (18)

* The affiliate programs with (18) after them are adult sites so if your easily offended please don’t look. All I will say is sex sells so if you want to make a lot of money there worth looking into.

Quite often Affiliates promote these links by creating a website and putting there links on it which I’ll be going into in depth in future posts.

What the smart Affiliate marketers do is create an ad using a PPC ad that costs very little money per click. This ad links directly to the vendor’s sales page with the affiliates unique link (this tells the vendor it was you that sent them). If the visitor purchases the product at this time or shortly afterwards you the affiliate make a referral fee.

Technorati

Technorati is an Internet search engine for searching blogs, they are currently tracking 88.9 million blogs and over 250 million pieces of tagged social media. To find out in detail what it does I suggest you go to http://technorati.com/about/ because I don’t think I can explain it any better. What I will say is, if your serious about getting traffic to your blog signing up with them is a must. It’s free and simple to join. When you’re up and running with them, you will have a little profile on their page outlining your blog details etc..Whenever you update your blog send a ping either on the Tachnorai site or from a site like Ping-O-Matic, which I spoke about in a earlier post.

Making Money On The Internet Part 1 - Ebay

Making money on the internet is a phrase that must have been searched for by just about everyone at one time or another. If you’re one of these people that have Googled those five words I know for a fact that you will have been bombarded by pages and Adwords such as “Make $1000 to $2000 a day”. They make it sound so easy. In reality it is a lot of hard work but the fact I want to stress is that it is possible and through this Blog I’m going to tell how. So for part one of my making money on the internet post I’m going to talk about Ebay (yes that old chestnut). It seems fitting to start with Ebay as that’s exactly where my quest to making money on the internet started almost a year ago, to quite a degree of success, I might add.  Anyway here’s my guide to making money on Ebay.

1. First of there’s the obvious. Raiding your attic, cellar, garage etc, and sticking it on Ebay, but there’s only so far you can go before you find that you sat on a box in an empty room, staring at the spot where the TV used to be!

2. Buying wholesale and selling can be very profitable. There are two key points to this which are :- finding a good wholesaler and finding a product that’s going to sell very well, like the Christmas toy that’s on every kids list. Get those two factors right and your will be on to a winner.  (more…)

Ping-O-Matic

Ping-O-MaticI thought I’d talk about a site that’s really helped to increase traffic to my site. Ping-O-Matic is a free service that has been running since 2004. For those of you who don’t know what Ping-O-Matic is, this explanation from the website:

There are a number of services designed specifically for tracking and connecting blogs. However it would be expensive for all the services to crawl all the blogs in the world all the time. By sending a small ping to each service, you let them know you`ve updated so they can come check you out. They get the freshest data possible, you don`t get a thousand robots spidering your site all the time. Everybody wins.So why would you want to be on these sites? One word: traffic. Blogrolling scripts like blogrolling.com and WordPress check update services to see if you’ve updated and then they reflect that on everyones site, usually by moving you to the top of peoples blogrolling list or putting a recently updated indicator by your link. Services like Technorati spider your links to tell who’s linking to you and who you’re linking to, almost in real time. If you show up on someones Technorati link list for their site (often called an “egorati search”) they’re likely to visit your site to see what you said, increasing your exposure. Other sites like weblogs.com and blo.gs list the most recently updated blogs and many people browse these to find something new when they`re bored. Many of the different services offer their own forms for pinging just that service, but keeping track of all those and hitting each one whenever you update would be a hassle.

I strongly recommend bloggers to use this service, it’s free, easy to use and results will soon start to show.

How To Get Traffic To Your Site

Ok you have your website up and running but to make your site successful you need to get traffic to your site. Getting traffic to your site takes hard work and diligence and is not accomplished overnight. To get people to your site you must advertise. Here are some proven ways to advertise your site without spending (much) money.

1. Submit your site URL to as many search engines as you can find. Although Google or Yahoo are the most talked about there are lots out there. Here is a list to get you started:  Google Yahoo AltaVista MSN Lycos Searchit AllTheWeb Exactseek Qango What-U-Seek SearchWarp

2. If your setting up a blog sign up with blogging directories like BlogExplosion.

3. Submit your site to directories that match the topic of your site (i.e If your site is about music submit your site to every music directory you can find).

4. Use a favicon.ico. If you set a little image to show instead of the normal internet explorer image (it will appear before your domain name in the address bar and before your page name in the favourites lists) it makes your site stand out more.

Here’s how you do it: Make an image of 16 * 16 pixels. Save it as an ICON file (.ico) extension with the name favicon.ico in the root folder of your Website. (The folder with your index.html file) Done. It’s that simple.  When someone bookmarks your site, the Browser looks for a file called http://YourSite.com/favicon.ico. If it finds a file it uses your file instead of it’s default file.

5.  Make sure you don’t have broken links on your site! There is nothing more annoying when one clicks a link and it does not work. There are hundreds of places you can go on the internet that will check your link validity. Use them.

6. Use sites such as Traffic Holder to buy or sell traffic. Very cheap and well worth it.

7. Join as many webmaster forums as you can find. Firstly you can promote your site (don’t spam thou) and secondly to get the latest tips.

As I said in my opening paragraph it’s a lot of hard work but if it’s done right it’s well worth it. Hope this post has helped.

Setting Up A Website

So you want to set up a website but don’t know where to start. Don’t worry its understandable. Setting up your first website can be very daunting for the best of us. The best advice I can give is don’t rush into anything (a mistake I made many times in the early days). Here’s my step by step guide on setting up your website:

Step 1: Planning. Planning is key. You have to ask yourself what you want your website to be about? Who are your target audience? What do you want to achieve with the site? Research sites similar to the idea you have for your site. What better way to set up a successful sight than incorporating the best features from sites that are already up and running. Just for the record I’m NOT saying copy them, but take the ideas and put your own spin on it. This may seem very boring but it is important and will help to minimize work later on.

Step 2: Choose a Domain Name. A domain name is the web address of your website (i.e. www.monty-blog.com). All websites must have a domain name before they can go live on the Internet. By this stage you will have to know for sure what your going to call your site because once you’ve registered the domain name there’s no changing it unless you buy a new one. There are many places you can register your domain name but I would suggest that you use your hosting site which I will be talking about in the next step. It just makes it easier.  The hosting site I suggest is Bluehost. So if you want to check your desired domain name is available click on Bluehost link below and then click on domain check on their menu bar. Hope you find a name to suit your needs.

First Post

Well as the title suggests this is my first post, so errrr hello. I’m going to start by talking about what I want to achieve with this blog. If you’ve ready the about us page you’ll know that I walked out on my job almost a year ago to set up my own internet businesses. I was at a real dead end career wise and really fed up at how much money I was making the company but not seeing a fair proportion in my wage packet. Towards the end I was spending 70% of my day surfing the internet instead of working. It was around this time I started searching for a phrase that everyone must have Googled at one time or another……… How to make money on the internet! So that was the start of my quest. I left my job started trading on Ebay and the rest is history as they say.  Along the way I have tried many different ways to use the internet to make money. Some have crashed and burned and some have been very successful, but all i have learnt from. I am starting this blog for people to use as a guide as well as another cog in the Monty internet empire (next step the world). Over the coming weeks, months and even years if works out, I will be updating this blog with guides, tips and general help for webmasters wanting to make money from the internet. I will also be posting product and website reviews as well as a few light hearted posts covering topics that interest me. Yes I do have I life away from the world wide web!

Anyway thanks for reading my opening post. Hope I’ve enticed you to read on.
